An important part of my job as digital editor of Hero Images is to perform quality assurance checks on all of the images. A final sweep is done to check the colour, remove any branding, and to double-check that all the retouch has been completed properly.
My favourite aspect of QA is what I call the Easter Egg Hunt. This is when I enlarge each photo to 100% and look at sections instead of the entire image all at once. Play along with me. See if you can spot what often gets overlooked when you don’t look at the image at 100% ...
